Dhurandhar is a powerful and gripping film that keeps you engaged from the very first scene. The storyline is tight, intense, and engaging, making it difficult to look away once the narrative begins unfolding. The narrative feels grounded and realistic, which adds weight to every major moment. The performances deserve special appreciation. Every actor delivers with conviction. There is no unnecessary loudness or overacting. Akshaye Khanna’s calm presence, sharp expressions, and subtle acting make his character deeply effective. In many moments, he quietly steals the scene without trying too hard. This is classic Akshaye Khanna; measured, intelligent, and impactful. Sanjay Dutt, as always, looks effortless and cool. His screen presence adds gravitas to the film. Coming to Ranveer Singh, he shows remarkable restraint in Dhurandhar. Instead of relying on high energy or dramatic flair, he keeps his performance controlled and intense. On the other hand, Arjun rampal brings physical presence and seriousness to his role, supporting the narrative without overshadowing it. The female characters in Dhurandhar are handled with sensitivity and purpose. Sara Arjun’s performance deserves special mention. Sharing screen space with veteran actors like Sanjay Dutt and R. Madhavan is not easy, yet she holds her own with remarkable confidence. She leaves a strong impression despite limited screen time. Her performance feels natural, adding an important emotional layer to the film.

That said, the film could have benefited from tighter editing. The action and fighting scenes, while well choreographed run longer than necessary, particularly the climax. Trimming these could have improved the overall pacing and made the impact sharper. One aspect that also draws attention is the level of violence. While it does add to the raw intensity of the story, many viewers may feel that the brutality is excessive at points and could have been toned down without compromising the narrative strength. While, the romantic scenes are surprisingly well done. They add emotional balance to an otherwise intense film and give the audience moments to breathe.

Overall, Dhurandhar is a strong film with excellent performances, a gripping storyline, and a serious cinematic tone. With a shorter runtime and slightly reduced violence, it could have been even better. Still, it stands out as a solid, performance-driven film and is definitely worth watching for its acting and storytelling.
